I am a local teacher, reading specialist and owner of The Little Read Hen, LLC. Not only do I specialize in decoding, fluency and comprehension, I also remediate spelling difficulties, teach writing skills and hold summer reading book clubs with groups of friends to conquer summer reading requirements in a motivating way as we explore literary elements such as theme, characterization and symbolism.
I am the recipient of two awards- Distinguished Teacher and Excellence in the Teaching of Reading.
